Sue’s Learning Poster (Incorporated with Peace Shield) Increased Self-Awareness – the visualization of being lesbian was powerful; giving me a whole new appreciation of being a minority based on sexual orientation.
Increased Cultural Knowledge – Nigeria’s official language is English and their economic base is largely driven by the oil and gas industry – similar to Fort McMurray but different in so many other ways opened my eyes to my assumptions.
