Leaders have CONFIDENCE • Confidence is NOT ARROGANCE • Confidence is NOT JUST EXTROVERTED • Confidence is NOT BEING FAKE
Leaders have CONFIDENCE • Confidence is SURE OF WHO YOU ARE • Confidence is CONTAGIOUS • Confidence is DEVELOPED
How do you develop CONFIDENCE? • Know what you know for sure! – You are God’s son/daughter if you have been forgiven.
2 Corinthians 3:4 -6 “Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers….”
How do you develop CONFIDENCE? • Humbly recognize it’s NOT about YOU
Jeremiah 17:7-8 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
How do you develop CONFIDENCE? • Act it out! – Becoming who you want to be takes PRACTICE. Hebrews 10:35-36 “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”
You can have CONFIDENCE! • People follow CONFIDENT people – good or bad. • Live your life with CONFIDENCE and let your life be WORSHIP. 1 John 5:14 – “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”
