Know Thy Neighbor ’08 Sikh Sabha of New Jersey 282 Bakers Basin Road, Lawrenceville, NJ Saturday, October 18, 2008 4 – 8 p.m. Dear Friend, You, your family and friends are invited to attend a special program to mark the 300th anniversary of the Sikh Holy Scriptures. The event will include speakers from the community and well known Sikh scholars. The evening will end with a vegetarian meal and a “get to know thy neighbor” program. Attendees will include the local Sikh families and other neighbors from different communities. Come and meet the local Sikh community and learn about some of our traditions and customs. Dress code: Men – business casual; Women – wear trousers, we will all be sitting cross-legged on the floor. Head coverings will be provided, women can cover their head with a scarf.
