King Arthur The King Arthur’s story happened between 1400 and 1600. It was an age of fights between a lot of tribes in the England ground. So, a king named Uther Pendragon united many tribes under one nation. Arthur was the Uther’s son. The next king for right. Merlin the wise brought him up. Arthur didn’t know his father until the day of Uther’s death, when he knew his heritage. Been the next king he needed to be admitted for the kingdom. For the admitting of Arthur as the new king, Merlin put a sword into a stone in which was written: “who can pull the sword out of the stone will be the new king”. Many men of the kingdom tried in vain. And when Arthur could pull the sword out, they recognized him as the new king. Arthur ruled with honor and honesty. He created the Knights of the Round Table. Men who swore to protect the order and honor around and around.
