TANK TOP Note Pattern is written for smallest size with changes for larger sizes in parenthesis. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. For ease in working, circle all numbers pertaining to your size. BACK With Microspun, cast on 89 (97, 103, 111) sts. Work in Seed st for 1". Begin pattern as follows: Row 1 (RS) K 2, p 1, k 39 (43, 46, 50), p 1, k 3, p 1, k 39 (43, 46, 50), p 1, k 2. Row 2 (WS) Purl across. Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for pattern and work even until piece measures 10½", ending with a WS row. Shape Armholes Continue in pattern and bind off 4 (5, 5, 6) sts beginning of next 2 rows – 81 (87, 93, 99) sts. Decrease after first 2 and before last 2 sts on next row and every other row (every RS row) 2 (5, 3, 6) times total. Work even on 77 (77, 87, 87) sts until armholes measure 4½ (5, 5¼, 5¾)", ending with a RS row. Shape Neck Next Row (WS) P 38 (38, 43, 43), k and p in next center st to increase, p 38 (38, 43, 43) – 78 (78, 88, 88) sts. Next Row (RS) K 38 (38, 43, 43), slip next st, join separate ball of yarn and with separate ball (k next 2 sts tog) twice, * pass first of these decrease sts over 2nd *, k next 2 sts tog, repeat from * to *, k to end – 39 (39, 44, 44) sts first shoulder, 34 (34, 39, 39) sts 2nd shoulder. From here on, work each shoulder with separate strand of yarn. Next Row (WS) P 33 (33, 38, 38) sts of 2nd shoulder, slip last st, for first shoulder, (p next 2 sts tog) twice, * pass first of these decrease sts over 2nd *, p next 2 sts tog, repeat from * to *, p to end – 34 (34, 39, 39) sts each shoulder. FRONT Work same as for Back. FINISHING Block pieces to measurements by dampening them, laying them flat on towel(s), and using your hands to move them into shape. If necessary, pin until dry. Sew shoulder seams, sew side seams. Neck Trim With RS facing and circular needles, pick up and k 100 (100, 110, 110) sts evenly around each neck – 100 (100, 110, 110) sts. Work 1 row in Seed st. Bind off in Seed st on next row. Armhole Trim With RS facing and circular needles, pick up and k 76 (82, 86, 92) sts evenly around armhole. Work 1 row in Seed st. Bind off in Seed st on next row. JEANS TRIM With crochet hook, chain lengths of yarn to fit around jeans' seam lines. Sew chain along seam lines. Crochet extra long length to go around leg bottom for about 3". Sew long chain to leg bottom, covering about 3: evenly spaced
