Accountable for organization of 61 employees and supervised a staff of 5 direct reports. Reported to Senior Vice President of I.T. 

Reduced I.T. cost by 40% year over year while increasing productivity, efficiency and quality.



Centralized Regulatory and Compliance, utilizing offshore personnel for a savings of $250,000 annually.



Developed comprehensive Risk Analysis to determine offshore ability of High Impact Financial Applications that verified controls, aiding the reduction of fraudulent posting of transactions. Deployed a set of Service Support Processes (ITIL-based) to enable consistent management of process-driven IT services seamlessly across variable number of vendors. Participated in establishing Key Bank’s Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), a world’s best-practice for the delivery of IT services.

 Managed Implementation of E-Procuri/Ariba E-Commerce/B2B Procurement, continued as point of contact.  Preserved the incentive compensation system for over 8000 retail and business banking employees through successful implementation of enterprise wide discretionary compensation system. Plain Dealer Publishing /Advanced Publications (Ohio’s largest Newspaper), Cleveland, OH – 1987 to 2004 Manager, Advertising and Publishing Systems Coordinated and managed the development and implementation of electronic publishing, Internet and production output systems. 

Transformed the manual production of ad layout to a completely electronic process; resulted in company-wide reduction of staff by 20% and increased accuracy and ad production.



Headed technical implementation of newly designed paper from 75 to 50 inch format, attaining cost savings of 15% for paper and ink cost.



Created and implemented Cleveland.com, one of the most recognized websites in Northeast Ohio.

 Developed in house fax solution for receiving and filing ads into classified order entry system; led to elimination of package system and support agreement for a savings of 68,000 annually.  Facilitated technology move to new downtown facility of infrastructure and desktop computing for more than 1600 professionals on time and within budget.  Directed implementation of new ad order entry system replacing 17-year old legacy system, within aggressive timeline and budget; impacted elimination of entire department for significant savings.  Handled migration of several small applications and file structures to SAN environment reducing hardware and storage cost.  Designed, implemented and managed training program that led to consolidation of three departments into one, improving productivity and morale.



Developed truck relay system track location of vehicles, load and delivery time to retail sites.
