He

used colors, lines, shapes and angles to create his art. The art that he pioneered is called abstract. Kandinsky used music to paint.

abstract art you don’t see specific objects.  In their paintings they did not try to show people, animals, or places exactly as they appeared in the real world.  They mainly used color and shape in their paintings to show emotions.
