Spoiler Section for Season 6!!! 11/7/08 -Official Casting ReleaseLook above to view the newest casting of recurring guest characters for the upcoming season. Please, take note in the character names. Wikipedia and Google are useful tools. These are the people and their character names that I want you to think of when reading 6. So take a good look at them and check back prior to the season premier so they'll be fresh in your head! You can follow up with questions about the upcoming seasons in the comments if you want. I will answer the best I can without spoiling you. Note: I cast these people because they fit the parts I have envisioned perfectly. Also, I try to cast people who would actually do the show. I have a good feeling all these people would have no issues with doing TV or Lost.

11/9/08 -On Scene Filming UpdateShooting of scenes for 6.1 have started and it appears that Martin Keamy is back! What's odd is that they seem to be re-shooting the scene from "Shape of Things To Come" where Keamy and his men blow up Claire's house. Nestor Carbonell was on set and it seems like he was part of the storyline. Maybe it's a Richard episode!?

11/09/08 -Rumor UpdateIt is rumored that Libby will be back for season 6 and a completely different way that we've ever seen her. There are more scenes with Locke, Boone and Mr. Eko. Tom Friendly is also rumored to be returning for an episode as well as Miles, Rose and Bernard. The best part? These people are all set to be in the same episode sometime around 6.6. 11/10/08 -On Scene Filming ReportIt has been confirmed that there has been filming taking place at the location where the Swan Station set is. The Swan Station will be revisited; however, it doesn't seem like a flashback because some of the new cast has been spotted on set. Did the island travel back in time?

11/11/08 -Rumor ReportRumor has it that even though Desmond is off island, we most definitely haven't seen the last of him! It is unclear, but we may see him as soon as 6.2. Insiders say that he is paired up with a very unlikely partner this season and he may be the key character to how this all ends. Ben did call him the "ultimate protector" in the season 5 finale, after all.

11/12/08 -Casting CallThis was an official casting call sheet for "Mid-Season Guest Spot": [Name Withheld] A smart, rough and surly Caucasian man somewhere between 45-55 years old. He is adventurous and is willing to take on big gambles. He is already extremely wealthy and well known, however, his greed gets the best of him. His personal aspirations of wealth and notoriety far outweigh his logical reasoning skills. His positive attributes are charm and wit. Must have a strong/notable voice and British accent. AT LEAST 1 EPISODE...GUEST STAR.

11/14/08 –Episode Title LeakThe title for episode 6.1 has been leaked! It is reported to be “Because They Died.” Another episode titled has been leaked; however, it is unsure which number it is. The title is reported to be “Red October.”

11/16/08 –Interview with JwLostOur very own Locke333 from losties.net secured an interview with JwLost. He asked some of our most wanted questions. Here is the dialogue. Locke333: I know you’re busy with the writing of Season 6, so thank you JwLost, for taking the time to hear some of the most wanted questions by your readers. That was one shocking finale, so let’s start with that. You left us with one of the biggest cliffhangers in the history of the show. One question on all of our minds is; is Sun OK? Last time we saw her she was in the arms of Jin, lifeless. In a post you made on Losties.net you said “Her life is hanging in the balance.” Is there anything you can tell us about that? JwLost: Glad to be here, Locke333. You start with some hard hitting questions, I see. I like your style. Alright, so yes, Sun's life is hanging in the balance. Is she ok? Well, you will need to tune into the premier of Season 6 for that. I won't make you guys wait long to find out the fate of Sun. I will say that it is much more complicated than it looks. A situation will arise that may leave not only Sun in jeopardy, but that of another Lostie who may be the answer to saving her life. Locke333: Wow, just like Darlton, beating around the bush. But that's alright; we wouldn't want you to spoil us THAT much now would we? Well whether she's dead or not, it doesn't matter. We all know that once someone is dead on Lost, it’s possible they will be back. Speaking of bringing back dead characters, will we be seeing anymore of everyone’s favorite Iraqi Sayid Jarrah? Or is his storyline on the show gone for good? JwLost: Come on, this is Lost, is any storyline ever really put to rest? Haha, but yes, you will see Sayid again. In fact, you will see him in the premier, 6.1 "Because They Died." Sayid is dead though, no doubt about that. However, I believe Locke told Sun once that "Nothing on this island ever stays buried." Locke333: That is true, very, very true. Well while we are speaking of John Locke the wise and his teachings, let me ask you another question. Last we saw of him he was sitting on part of the "Four Toed Statue" with two of his fellow dead plane crash survivors, Boone Carlyle and Mr. Eko. Is this statue just the gathering place of mystery and unanswered questions or what? What is our favorite baldy up to this time? JwLost: The 4-Toed Statue... the thorn in my paw, and a top mystery since season 2... Well, let's just say that the statue does hold an extreme amount of significance this season. It took me forever to come up with an answer for it, but it finally struck me halfway through season 5 what it is. I think the readers will be pleasantly surprised. As for Locke, Boone and Eko (and Walt, you can't forget Walt) they will be semi-regulars this season. Locke has shifted to a different place, if you will. Who better to take that shift with him than his two biggest disciples, Boone and Eko? It is very biblical in reference and who better to amplify Faith than John Locke?

Locke333: Would Claire fit into the same category that Locke and his disciples are in? Or is she a totally different matter? JwLost: Claire fits into multiple categories. She will finish off in one though. Locke333: Wow...I think I can speak for all of us viewers by saying that Claire and her dad Christian Shephard are a mystery we are looking forward to being solved. It looks like you're revisiting this, from the looks of a recent filming update. The scene where Claire's house blows up? Maybe the answer will be revealed in due time. You mentioned John Locke representing Faith. He has always been the symbol of Faith, and Jack has been Science. The new advertisements for Season 6 read "The final showdown of Science V.S. Faith." Then this never-ending battle will be resolved then? JwLost: Well, Locke333, I think that Faith vs. Science is a big part of everyday discussion. Many believe that Faith is being replaced by Science and on the other hand that Science is being held back by Faith. In this show, the struggle has been there since the second Locke's legs started working again and the scientific DI team was introduced. The theme of Faith vs. Science has been overshadowed the past few seasons, so I am bringing it back. I think there will be a clear cut answer in the end regarding Faith/Science. This season is all about "cycle". Locke333: Well I am looking forward to this theme coming back; it was one of my favorite aspects of Lost. JwLost, you have been very generous to us readers with a daily spoiler update. To my surprise, sometime in the past few days you treated us to a Season 6 artwork poster. (Courtesy of SomeArztOnYou) Besides the glowing red vibe we get from it, our eyes and attention are drawn to two pillars of black smoke coming from the island...just what is this? JwLost: Well, like I ended my last answer. This season is all about being cyclical. The red of the sky, and the overall theme of the poster, is supposed to make you wonder, "Is it dawn or dusk?" (The cycle of the sun) The plane reflection in the water is supposed to remind you of 815 and season 1. The pillars of smoke you refer to... ah, that is where it gets complicated. We've see a similar view of the island when the "others" used smoke to signal attack. We've seen smoke clouds from the monster. And in one shot after the plane crashed, we saw smoke rising from 2 areas of the island; the mid-section and the cockpit section (some argue the tail, but that sank quickly). These are all things we saw in season 1...which takes me back to the cyclical nature of this season. Locke333: Where else have we seen something being repeated? A spoiler update about the cast being in the Swan Station. Many readers are looking forward to this set, it was a favorite. To continue on reader feedback on this poster, there have been some problems regarding the object closest to the screen. It appears to be a landmass, but it also looks like the oh so familiar icebergs from the Season 5 poster. Can you claire-ify for us what it is? (And sorry for the pun, I had to do it.)

JwLost: The iceberg... I promise you, you've seen the end of icebergs. The thing you see in the foreground is the Hydra Island. It's hard to make out, but that is the rock cliff where Ben took Sawyer in season 3 to show him the main Island. It was more clearly visible when the theme of the poster was blue, but when turned red the colors seemed to fade the green/brown of the Hydra. That was more of a last minute thing that was over-looked. Locke333: Oh. It looks good nonetheless. Moving back to the actual scripts, is there anything you would like to enlighten us with about the first few episodes? Want to let any centricities or episode names slip? JwLost: No, not really, haha. The answers to the questions we've been dying to know start being answered in the very start of the season. The first episode is very science driven whereas the second episode has more of a faith/religious feel to it. The first episode as I've said is "Because They Died." It is an eye opener and gives a lot of hints to where this season is headed. The title for 6.2 is still being worked on and the title for 6.3 hasn't been finalized, however, a good friend suggested "Influx." Kind of a play on "Exodus" from Season 1. Locke333: Wow, I am very excited for the premiere. Questions being answered are my dream come true. The Smoke Monster, Jacob, The Whispers, the fake plane crash planted in the Sunda Trench, the Four-Toed Statue, the Frozen Donkey Wheel, Richard's agelessness, the DI...all mysteries that have been with us for a long time. I look forward to seeing how you answer them. With that, I'll ask my last question, because I have to let you go; I know you're a very busy man. Do you have a set end for Season 6? Let me rephrase that. Do you know how it's all going to end? That last screenshot that we will all remember and hopefully cherish the rest of our lives; is it in your head? JwLost: The last scene. I would like to think that you will definitely remember it, at least, I hope you do! I think the end of the show will no doubt disappoint some readers and it may really please a lot of readers too. I think an epic show like this will have mixed reaction in the end because so many people don't want to let go, so they will be unsatisfied with whatever is put out there. My job is to find the best way to make it all fit, not to make people like it, but to make it make sense. I will let the readers take from it what they will. Locke333: Well spoken, and I agree that it will be hard to let go. This show has impacted many people's lives and any ending to something this great will be viewed in many different ways. JWLost, I'd like to thank you for giving us your time tonight, and I am looking forward to the premiere of Season 6. Please remind me and all of your readers when that premiere date is...? JwLost: Monday, November 17! 11/17/08! I tried to figure out a way to make it the numbers, but there is just no way to do it. - You are welcome and thank you for the great questions! You sure know your stuff and know how to get the important details out of me. I'm looking forward to you and everyone else’s comments and reactions to season 6! Hope you all enjoy!

Locke333: I'm sure we all will thanks again. ___________________________________________________________________
