From Your Pastor I want to invite everyone who reads this note to a multi-course meal that I will prepare and serve beginning in July. It will be made up of a number of entrees from scripture, served over a bed of fresh prayer. Some of the servings will be exquisite cuisine while others may seem” scattered, covered, and smothered.” Some will be your personal favorites, while others will seem like the vegetables you dislike the most good for you, but not necessarily what you would have picked for your own palate. Dessert and beverages may vary with the entrees. Look at the worship and praise as the appetizers to get you ready! Will you join us for all the meals? In another vein-please plan to join us on July 5th for our church -wide get together following worship. We will provide BBQ and beverages; you provide the sides - potato salads, baked beans and desserts-especially desserts!! Make enough for your family plus one! Vacation Bible School was a great success! Thank you to Marla and all the crew for organizing, staffing, teaching and serving! I know God was pleased! Your Pastor and Friend, Clark ☺
Grits and God’s Word Men, Set your alarms and join the others for breakfast and Bible study, prayer and more!
Wednesday Mornings at 6:30 am Clark’s Pond House

Youth Children Loaves of Love Prayer Ministry Golden Age Club
ESL
We are taking July and August off to regroup and re-vamp our program. We would just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support you have given this program. Your prayers were a great blessing. Those of you who came and greeted, or provided refreshments, or encouraged these of us teaching meant the world. God blessed this outreach. Many of our students memorized Bible verses and learned praise songs. We enrolled twenty-one with an average of then to twelve each Sunday night. Please pray for this program as we evaluate and continue in the fall. If you would like to teach or help please let us know.
Loaves of Love The next Loaves of Love will be on July 18th. We would really like for you to help. The preparations start at 8:30am and the delivery starts at approximately 11:00 am. I promise that you will receive a blessing from this. Call Sue Joyner if you need further information at 897-1010.
Next Date: July 18, 2009 8:30AM
School Supplies Drive Before we turn around it will be time for school again. There are several very needy areas that will require school supplies especially in our present economy. We want to offer supplies to our needy school children here in Elloree through the school systems. West Virginia, our on-going mission, will need school supplies, as well. To do this we need you help!! When you are shopping, please pick up supplies and bring them to the church. Any supplies will be great. If you drop them off, I will store them in a safe place. If you would like to give a donation, please give it to Karen Heddle and mark it for school supplies. Partial list of supplies, but feel free to improvise: Notebook paper (wide rule and college rule) Spiral or bound notebooks Pencils, pens, erasers Markers Glue (stick or bottle) Small pads for assignments Pencil pouches Crayons Calculators, rulers, protractors, compasses Construction paper, three ring or pocket folders Book bag Lunch Box or bag or even brown lunch bags We will deliver these supplies in August. The trip to West Virginia will be a back to school kick-off with a cook-out for the adults, too. We need to help the Peytona Church. I will publish the date as soon as possible. I cannot thank you enough for your help with this. Jenny Rourk, 897-2560 or
