Garcia Journal entry 4 Today poetry is important because it can be helpful, as it can greatly help to heal someone’s loss or trauma by reading someone else’s expressions o feelings, almost as if they were at a therapy session. It can help to take your mind off of what is troubling you by almost taking you to another place. Poetry can be a way you can also convey what’s troubling you which is a large part of the healing process.
