JOLLIBEE GQ1: Comment on Jollibee’s mission and vision statements. The Jollibee’s mission statement “we bring great taste and happiness to everyone” is possible, reachable and somehow curative. There are lots of people whose hobby everytime ythey’re facing difficulties is to go to a place where they can eat plenty of foods to avoid thinking about their problem/s. this fact is the reason why I may say that Jollibee’s mission is somehow curative for it may help problematic persons to become happy even just for a while. Currently, Jollibee is well-known to most Filipino children with its ‘bee ahppy’ trademark. It really attracts many people due to the fact that you may really feel happy everytime you hear it or even read or see it. That’s why, aside from the children, even teenagers, adults or I may say the whole members of a family would love to come and eat at Jollibee. The company did well with its mission and its exixtence is really worth it. However, Jollibee’s vision statement is doing well too. With Jollibee’s rapid growth, it had reached Filipino workers in some other part of the world like United States and Hong Kong. Jollibee then offers Filipino foods instead of the usual menu such as burgers and fries so that they can Pinoy customers to overcome their loneliness of being far from their countryland where their loveones are. The company did a great job because Jollibee is well-loved by the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) until now. Furthermore, Jollibee also has their charity includes the “MaAga 1n gating Pasko” for the street children. The company put a big box at the entrance door so that anyone who wanted to donate somethings for the street children they would simply drop it inside the box and all the stuff inside the box will be given to the children. It is a great strategy for the company let people to have a chance to help others. Jollibee really brings happiness to everyone. GQ2: Compare them to mission/vision statements of the companies. In my opinion, like any other company, Jollibee emphasized the word ‘happiness’ on its mission and vision statements. However, most of the companies, for real, have one similarity regarding with their vision and mission and that is of course, customer satisfaction.
