Mini Bio Born Oct 1, 1924 in Georgia. Real name: James Earl Carter, Jr. Married Rosalynn Smith. In 1970 he became the thirty-ninth president of United States. Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on Dec 10, 2002. Awarded for his decades of effort to find peaceful solutions.

Character Traits He is a hard worker because he work all the time to champion human rights. He is responsible because he took care of his wife and their children. He is smart because he was selected to be a president( because he served as a naval officer for 7 years and many things else).

Conflicts  Wars in the Middle East between Israel and Egypt.  Panama Canal problems.  Conflicts between North Korean and South Korean, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, etc.

Resolutions  “Camp David” Treaty to bring peaces in the Middle East.  “Panama” Treaty to stop the conflict.  “Carter Center” to work on the peaces all over the world.
