Jesus seems to be more popular today than ever. From stores selling Jesus bobble heads to celebrities wearing “Jesus is my Homeboy” t-shirts, everyone seems to have an opinion about him. This is nothing new. At one point, even Jesus asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” An interesting question, indeed. Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity or just brush up on the basics. This study takes a fresh look at who Jesus was, what His aims were, and explores what it means to follow Him. Through this study, we will understand why he has made such a big impact upon this world. Come as you are with all your questions. We all have them. You won’t be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen. There are no expectations and no pressure. Just an informal study in a safe environment looking into the life & teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.
