1One of the earliest forms of art or literature in Mesopotamia was Cuneiform which is basically picture signs. It was developed so that people could take accurate records. They were made by making the design in a clay tablet while it was still wet. Sculpting was also a major factor in Mesopotamia’s history. Almost everyone had a statue of a god. Mosaics were also made and they were used to tell a story.
