Communication and dispute solving I attended the Exploring Leadership Workshop held by UNSW Student Career Service and gained a deeper understanding of workplace communications. I resolved a dispute between my groupmates by applying communication skills. In doing a group assignment, one of the group members came up with a new idea but not in line with the original plan. He had a big argument with another group member and claimed to quit. I talked to him and encouraged him to finish his idea as supplementary to the whole project. As a result, our assignment was finished on time and got 38 out of 40. Initiative This is the most common appraisal I’ve got from my previous employers. Worked as a manual laborer in Woolworths Randwick, I was quickly authorized to assist the store manager in doing storage management.
