The Jefferson Boulevard Task Force is pleased to announce the Children’s Halloween Carnival and Costume Parade on Jefferson! Saturday, October 31 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Jefferson Blvd. at the Texas Theater 231 W Jefferson Blvd. Dallas, TX 75208 Councilwoman Delia Jasso has made the revitalization of historic Jefferson Boulevard one of her top priorities. Help bring the diverse population of Oak Cliff together at this community event by sponsoring a booth! We encourage you to promote your business or cause at your booth! Each booth should also have an activity for children. Some ideas are: Face Painting Bounce House

Ring Toss Bean Bag Toss Fishing Game Shoot Hoops Pumpkin Painting Cake Walk Clowns Balloon Animals

There is no entry fee, however sponsorship contributions of any amount are being accepted.

Sign up to host your booth by completing and returning pages 2 and 3 to the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce. We will check for duplicate activities and contact you if someone has already selected the same children’s activity. Your support and involvement is appreciated! Will you be hosting an activity for children? If yes, please describe. Participant is prohibited from selling merchandise outside of their booth space. Participant may decorate booth(s) to their taste, however signage referencing sexual or illegal substances will not be permitted. This is a family-friendly festival. If an item or sign is considered offensive or questionable, the Participant may be asked to remove the item. All materials used in booth set up must meet Dallas fire and other public safety laws. If a violation is noted, the participant’s cooperation with correcting the violation is mandatory. Candles, lamps, lanterns, or anything with an open flame is prohibited. Participant will provide their own signage. Participant will be responsible for reporting and paying all appropriate sales tax. Participant is responsible for all set up, clean-up, and staffing of their booth.

BY SUBMITTING THIS APPLICATION AND SIGNING BELOW, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES STATED ABOVE.

Fees: There is no charge for participation, however a sponsorship donation would be appreciated! Participant agrees to abide by the terms and conditions as outlined above. Participant acknowledges that submission of an application does not guarantee entry. An official acceptance notification letter will be sent to the mailing address listed above no later than October 5, 2009. Specific load in and set-up information will be included with your acceptance notification. The Jefferson Boulevard Halloween Festival is a rain or shine event.
