EXPERIENCE 2016-2017 Curriculum Co-coordinator • District Wide • RSU #78 Rangeley, ME Key Contributions: Collaborated to design district level professional development throughout the year, advised the Leadership Team on curriculum decisions, co-taught a Proficiency Based (PB) Coaching group designed to build teaching capacity throughout a district new to the PB model, created and ran community information sessions about the district’s transition to a PB model and participated in the superintendent search group. 2011–2017 Alternative Education Teacher/High School RTI Coordinator • 7-12th Grade • RSU #78 Rangeley, ME Key Contributions: RTI Coordinator 2 years- Designed and ran the high school RTI program, including creating professional development for staff, running data meetings, supporting teacher application of data acquisition, analysis and interpretation; managing program budget and reporting program progress to administration and school board. Leadership Team Member 6 years- collaborated with other lead teachers to work on the district’s visioning project and strategic plan, as well as helped determine and run professional development for the district.

Alternative Education Teacher 6 years- created and ran the Alternative Education program for 7-12th graders. Designed a program that allowed students to gain credit recovery in all content areas using a proficiency based model, offered experiential and online learning opportunities in all content areas, worked with students and their parents/guardians in creating healthy and effective habits geared toward student success in school and beyond. Co-taught a world history course in order to support the transition of alternative education and former special education students back into the mainstream classroom. Managed a program budget and reported program success to administration and school board. Ran the school Garden Club and organized annual fundraisers to support district wide learning through gardening.

II • Special Education • RSU #78 Rangeley, ME Key Contributions: Made accommodations and modified the curriculum for small groups of students as well as assisted students one-on-one, wrote and was awarded a $15,000 grant to train the district in Collaborative Problem Solving. 2007–2009 Special Education Teacher • Day Treatment • Crossroads Day Treatment Program • RSU #73 Jay, ME Key Contributions: Developed and ran the academic portion of the program, created interdisciplinary units for two classrooms, 9-12 and 5-8, and taught the 912 class in all core content areas, oversaw three paraprofessionals and coordinated with program social worker and other professionals to include wraparound services for students. 2006–2007 Ed.
