Week In Preview Interested in what is going on in language arts? Check out Mrs. Faller's new online blog. Spelling lists, homework, educational websites and more will be posted. http://mrsfaller.blogspot.com. There is even a spot for comments! We are going to work on reviewing our first scrimmage test in order to prepare for our next test. We will be working on an informational report project. Information will go home about the project next week. In math, we will begin a unit on geometry. The six different kinds of triangles and six different quadrilaterals will be a major focus for this unit. Students will also learn about types of lines, types of angles, and names for a variety of polygons. We will rotate Science groups for the third time. Your child will be learning about the third cause of weathering. In Social Studies, we will be learning about the first towns that were settled in Ohio. We will also be learning about the pioneers and how they survived in their new homes.
By now you should have received information about our OAT parent night January 29. We will be talking all about the big test. Extra credit will be given for attending, so make sure to sign in!
