Application for Accord of Administrative approval 1) Name of the Scheme: Construction of ITI complex at Hajan Kashmir. 2) Authority: Director Technical Education J&K. 3) Agency: J&K Housing Board. 4) History & Necessity:- Hajan is an important town of newly created Bandipora District. The Town is in a process of development, with infrastructure in various spheres of education , technical education , health etc. being created and the construction of ITI is a step in that direction. This town having a sizeable population with in numerable villages surrounding it, where educated youth seeking to undergo technical training in various trades face lot of difficulty and in convenience in the absence of such a facility in their town. Also in accordance with government policy to remove unemployment among the educated youth, it has embarked upon the construction of these training institutions at every important town to impart technical training to the educated youth so that they are rendered worth earning their own living. In consideration of this reality, it has been felt necessary to construct an industrial training institute at Hajan 4) Proposal & Specifications:It has been proposed to construct double Storeyed load bearing wall type a) Administrative Block with the following accommodation. Foundation:-

Underground:- Underground shall be raised in mass concrete with grade of concrete M10, laid over R.C.C. Strip M20 with adequate structurally designed section with 100 mm thick mud mat M 7.5 and soling 150 mm thick laid under it. Above Ground: Above Ground / Plinth shall also be raised in mass concrete M10 having adequate designed section. This shall have seismic band 150 mm thick laid at plinth level. The substructure shall have seismic bars at every junction corners and openings. ii.

Superstructure-

This shall be consisting of Brick Work in1:6 cement mortar with seismic band M20 grade of adequate section laid at plinth level all around the brick work. iii.

Joinery :-

Joinery shall be consisting of Deodar Wood Door / Window frames of 3”x5” section. The door window shutters of 40 mm thickness shall be consisting of Kail Wood with fittings in accordance with ISI section iv

Flooring :-

Flooring shall be 50 mm thick in (1:2:4) grade of concrete laid over 100 mm thick mud mat M7.5 grade which in term shall be laid over sand filled floors properly compacted in the rooms. The circulation area vertical and horizontal shall be having kota stone flooring ¾” thick of desired shade and approved brand. V. Ceiling: RCC slab of M20 grade plastered and finished with POP shall act as ceiling in ground and Ist Floor . Vii Finishing :Externally walls shall be cement plastered 15 mm thick using 1:5 cement sand mortar and subsequently shall be painted with cement based paints of specified brand and quality. Internally walls shall be cement plastered as well and finished with POP and painted with oil bound distemper of specified brand and quality. The wood work shall be painted with synthetic enamel paint of specified brand and quality. Vii Roofing:Roofing shall consist of structural steel trusses of designed steel sections properly welded. This shall be laid over poly coated / laminated roof sheets of required shade, design and guage.
