eClub Speakers Series - This Thursday! Our first eClub guest speaker will be Marc Cenedella, the CEO of The Ladders. The Ladders, is a privately held company offering online recruiting resources to recruiters and job seekers in the $100k+ employment market. Ex-HotJobs.com executive Marc Cenedella founded TheLadders.com in 2003 to address the unique job seeking and recruiting requirements in this underserved market sector.

We've updated the eClub webcafe site with 2 things: 1) eClub Buddy System - link here This database is intended to connect students with entrepreneurial experience (called an "eBuddy") with people that have questions and want to get answers or help with their ventures (called a regular "Buddy").Students that are an "eBuddy" do not need to be 2nd year's only...they can be anyone that has startup experience, has been in VIP, has exited their venture and is a millionaire, etc. Students interesting in becoming a "Buddy" do not need to be 1st years, but can be anyone that wants to make connections with fellow students that have entrepreneurial experience. Check it out! 2) eClub Member Projects - link here This database is intended to allow you to add information on projects you're working on and things you're looking for help with. People interested in forming teams, or joining teams, should check this out! 3) Have a recommendation for another database? Let us know! Club Membership Tally - 2nd Year's are Wachovia to 1st Year's Goldman Sachs The first year class now has 146 eClub members. The second year class only has 106. Sad.

InThePlay – New Sports Media Internship InThePlay, a new media sports and technology start up is looking for an intern to help formalize its business plan. This is a great opportunity for a Wharton MBA candidate to work closely with the company founder who is a creative entrepreneur/inventor. The business also includes several former athletes including former Flyer, Ed Hospodar and the head of NHL central scouting EJ McGuire (who is also a former Flyer assistant coach). The business is focused on changing the way people interact with and consume sports content through its real time automated filming, tracking and statistical categorizing system.
