Hero Jamal Abdul Nasser was born in Alexandria in Egypt in 1918 . From 1942 to 1935 he went to school and took part in demonstrations against the British who then ruled Egypt. After that in 196 he joined the Egyptian army and formed a secret group called " free officers" In 1952 Nasser and the free officers forced the British to leave Egypt .After sometime in 1954 he became the prime minister . Later in 1956 he became the president of Egypt. Finally in 1970 he died of a heart attack at the age of 52
