The continuous and rapid growth of the company was achieved through Ittihad’s firm commitment to the highest standards of quality glass products that conform to international specifications and local regulatory requirements, in addition to timely delivery and competitive pricing.

In the 1st quarter of 2008, Ittihad relocated to a new site equipped with state of the art glass processing machinery. Production lines were expanded to include in-house tempering, heat strengthening, ceramic fretting, sand blasting and frameless glass installation service. This enabled the company to expand its production capacity in order to meet the increasing demand for its products from the local and regional markets. It also consolidated Ittihad’s excellent reputation as Jordan’s market leader in glass processing, with a market share of over 50 %.

Welcome message from our CEO When Ittihad Glass was established in 1994 as a joint venture between 3 manufacturing groups, with a mission limited to producing double glass units and glass cutting, the founders could scarcely imagine the wide Eng . Omar Shegem range of products and services that we offer today. Ittihad has grown larger than the wildest ambitions that we allowed ourselves to entertain in those early days, not only due to the market demand but also to the judicious planning and diligent efforts of everyone in the company.

Today Ittihad Glass produces double glazed units using a robotic line with a capacity of 675m2 per eight-hour shift, three times the maximum capacity we reached in the old production line. Our glass cutting capacity has also increased to 1,500m2 per eight hour shift, and our new state of the art tempering line produces 1,230m2 per eight hour shift of tempered and heat strengthened glass. Moreover, Ittihad produces ceramic frit glass for spandrels and for decorative purposes, bullet proof glass, fire resistant glass, curved tempered glass, safety glass, laminated glass, heat mirror glass, high performance glass and most types of the architectural glass required in the market.

Ittihad benefits from Jordan’s strategic geographical location and its healthy bilateral and multilateral trade relation with the neighboring Arab countries to launch its products beyond Jordan, to markets in the Gulf, the Levant, North Africa and some parts of Africa. With good planning, judicious management and determined hard work by our highly qualified operating teams, Ittihad is working its way steadily to becoming the regional leader in the glass industry in the near future.

Glass is now cleaner than ever It is a fact that glass provides several architectural advantages to a building unmatched by any other construction material, these include the sense of space, lighting, and the aesthetic enhancement. However, the use of glass may have some drawbacks such as the effort of maintenance and cleaning expenses to keep the glass shining and transparent at all times, however this is not the case any more.
