Chapter 1 introduction A.Background in the real wold in general, we ofter use letters to preach a story. But the lack of letter media is the length of time needed from the sender to the recipient. This problem can be solved by using telephone media. But unfortunstely if you use a telephone for the distance between the caller and the quite far away, it uses DLD or IDD (International direct dial). Therefore other media are needed that can help overcome these time, distance and cost constraints.

One solution that can be used is by using email(electronic mail). is a solution that is quite cheap, can be accessed from anywhere,and rarely experiences delays in delivery, because in general (if there are no problems) usually the email can be sent within a maximum of 5 minutes. But that does not mean that by using e-mail there will be no problems that occur. There are also disadvantages and advantages, we will diacuss later. B.Formulation of the problem The formulation of the problem in writing this paper is: 1.what does it mean by e-mail ? 2.what are the e-mail fuctions ? 3.How to make e-mail ? 4.What are the fuctions of attaching files in e-mail ? 5.How do you sign up on social networking sites ?

Chapter 2 Discussion A.Understanding of email

Electronic mail,ofter abbreviated as email,email,or eMail, is any method of creating, transmitting, or storing primarily text-based human communications with digital communications system. Unlike conventional mail, email is much faster (conventional mail is sometimes called “snail mail” by email users). Email has both similarities and differences with more conventional postal services.firs,messages are poted electronically to individuals at specific addresses much like conventional mail. The address denotes the computer that sends and receives electronic mail for aspecific network.

B.How e-mail works

Hearder It countains information about the senver, the routing and the time of the message. The header always countains a subject line. This is a very important part of the message and you should always include asubject line. Some folks sort their messages by subject, so it is rude to not include a subject! The subject line indicates the purpose or content of the message. Message body, Where you write your message Signature, Witch identifies the sender. This part is optional must be set up inside of your email softwere.

C.How to send an email The message header usually includes at lest the following fields: From To Subject Date Cc

:The E-mail address of the sender :The E-mail address of recipient :Topic of message :The local time and date when the message was written :carbon copy,adopted from business communication protocol when typewriters ruled the day Bcc:Blind carbon copy When recipient does not need to know who else got a copy of the message. May or may not appear in sender’s file copy depending E-mail software used.

Chapter 3 Penutupan A.Conclusion Email stands for Electronic mail,or in Indonesian,electronic mail, which is a letter that sends using electronic means,namely through an internet network, by e-mail or e-mail,someone can send text, images, or files to someone who of course also has e-mail (E-mail) in a very short time. So,to send documents in file attachments in e-mail,of course, we must have an email, account and to sign up for the social network the key is to have an e-mail account so that it will be easy to communicate or send documents or files. B.Suggestion In making this paper there are still errors for which the authors apologize for the shortcomings the authors hope for constructive criticism and suggestion to improve this paper.
