The Admission procedure in a University is as follows: First an advertisement
appears
in major newspapers.
In this advertisement
the
qualification required for each course, the closing date of applications and fee to be enclosed are indicated. When the applications are received, a clerk in the registrar's office checks the received applications to verify the qualifications and the fee is enclosed. Then the clerk sends valid applications to the appropriate academic departments. The department checks the applications to select successful candidates. Then letters are sent to the applicants informing whether they are selected or not.
