Iq3 Configuration List

IQ3xcite configuration 1. Connect power: 100-240 Vac

2. Connect to Ethernet if required( RJ 45) 3. Connect inputs :a. Voltage input: Select V link in the link selector b. Current input: Select I link in the link selector c. Thermistor input: Select T link in the link selector d. Digital input : Select D link in the link selector For more details see page 3 on IQ3xcite installation guide 1. Segregate Screen Earth( Ground) 2. Connect Outputs : Connect 0 and N as OV and 0-10Vdc op, If P terminal is used connect CAREFULLY. ( P is output power of 24Vdc) 3. Install I/O modules 4. Connect I/O bus( for IQ3XCITE /96 and IQ3XCITE/128 only) 5. NOW INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION: Switch off all power lines and isolate all I/O. Remove cover of IQ3xcite and select Input channel Types. Now replace cover. 6. Switch ON power after finalizing all checks repeatedly. 7. CHECK CONTROLLER: a. ! = watchdog( red light): If blinking/ON: IQ faulty(Software or strategy) b. /= power(green light) : If Blinking, power supply fail c. .)))= I/O bus( red light) : If on , Check I/O connection for short circuits . 1. CHECK ETHERNET after RJ45 is connected : If green is on and Yellow is blinking, IT IS WORKING, If not check Ethernet 2. CONFIGURE IQ3: Configure IQ Strategy using SET and download strategy file from SET. This downloading can be done by the following methodsa. USING ETHERNET router b. USING LAPTOP connection RJ45 direct c. Using LAN network from supervisor 1. TEST INPUTS by testing manually 2. TEST OUTPUTS by manual observation 3. Connect Supervisors/ Tools / Display Panels 4. IQ View can be connected directly by using RJ 11 cable provided.
