An Invitation to Conservatism Editor Biographies Robert Wheeler was raised in Minneapolis, MN with three younger brothers and a younger sister. He attended Harvard University where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Applied Math and Economics. He was also a member of the two-time Ivy League Championship baseball team. After Harvard, Robert joined the US Army where he served as an officer responsible for integrating Air Force, Naval, Marine Corps, and Army Air Defense assets. His assignments took him across America and to South Korea, Italy, and Puerto Rico. Robert recently separated from the military and will be attending Harvard Business School in the Fall of 2009. John Amble currently serves as a military intelligence officer in the United States Army. Prior to this, he served in Baghdad, Iraq as commander of a tactical psychological operations detachment, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service. His extensive military training includes resident professional courses at the U.S. Army Intelligence Center and the JFK Special Warfare Center. Prior to his military service, he worked as a financial consultant for a variety of political campaigns in the Midwest. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, John will attend graduate school in 2009, upon completion of his active Army service.
