d The Glory of Marriage Most the people getting married are absolutely convinced that they are going to have the greatest marriages existing. The facts are that the majority of people are enduring terrible marriages or are getting divorced. What in your marriage is going to make you different? The romanticists believe good marriages just happen. The godly person knows it happens by a lot of discipline and hard work. God has a plan but we need to strive to reach it. The more we understand God’s design for marriage and affirm this purpose for ourselves, the stronger our marriages will be.

WORLD’S WAYS

GOD’S WAYS God graciously wants to share His abundant goodness with you. Marriage is part of His great plan to do that. But He wants you to set Him first and obey Him as He reveals different truths for your lives from His Word. This is your lifelong opportunity to know Him more. Below are some topics that we discuss with engaged couples in order to share these truths.

REJECTING & EMBRACING Acknowledging and rejecting worldly ideas about marriage, relationships, sex and life. “How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!” (Psalms 1:1)

TWO STEPS

Understanding and affirming biblical ideas about marriage, relationships, sex and life. “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.” (Psalms 1:2)
