This work should show how you are able to apply the knowledge that you are taught during Topic 1 - The Design Process and Topic 7 - Evaluation as well as allow you to get creative! The aim of this investigation is to use the design cycle, the strategies and techniques that are used to arrive at design solutions, to focus on research, development and evaluation, whilst designing and prototyping a computer controller. The Design Brief is given below and you will need to write a situation to go with it. Situation: Design Brief: “Logitech” is a company specializing in high-performance PC/notebook peripherals & web communications, such as keyboards, mice, and trackerballs. You have been asked to design, develop and evaluate a new mouse/controller which offers the user maximum comfort and productivity. The mouse must be suitable to be manufactured in quantity.
