I had the pleasure of being Kyla’s clinical instructor during her Obstetrics rotation at Balboa Naval Hospital. Kyla always presented herself in a professional manner and was eager to take on the challenges presented to her. Her positive attitude and ability to learn quickly made her a favorite among the nurses on the floor. Kyla’s outgoing and friendly personality put her patients at ease. When she was not with her patients, Kyla shadowed other nurses hoping to be part of a delivery or newborn assessment. Her eagerness to learn is truly one of her many strengths.
