Summer Institute Reflection 3. Identify three strategies that appeal to you and that you plan to try with your students. Address the following elements for each strategy that you have selected: • Write a summary of the strategy. • Identify the content (unit topic) and grade level to which you will apply the strategy. • Explain why the strategy is appropriate for you and your students. • Anticipate challenges that you might face as you apply the strategy.

2. Set two goals that you would like to accomplish during the upcoming school year. The goals should reflect the work you’ve done during the Summer Institute. One goal should focus on your classroom instruction and the other goal should focus on vertical curriculum alignment within your content area. Address the following elements for each goal: • State the goal. • Explain why you think the goal is important for you and your students. • Anticipate any challenges that you expect to face as you work to accomplish the goal.
