e strongly support international academic m o b i l i t y. O u r b i l a t e r a l agreements cover higher education institutions in Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, and Turkey. We also co-operate with universities and research institutions in China and Kazakhstan.
A
private university founded with the state permit in 2001, the Jan Amos Komenský University Prague has established itself as the largest Czech private institution of higher education and the first Czech private HE institution to be awarded the full university status. The Jan Amos Komenský University Prague offers fully accredited university studies in the Czech language including diploma courses in English as well as certified life-long learning courses. Our original MBA Programme in Human Resources Management and the EU has been awarded an international accreditation by FIBAA.
A
credit system is used in line with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Even credits from Life-long Learning programmes can be partially counted towards the bachelor studies as allowed by the national tertiary educational regulations. Our current research, development, and innovation projects have been funded or co-funded by the Czech Science Foundation, the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Czech Ministry of Culture, the European Commission, and through the European Social Fund.

ur research activities cover, in particular special education, adult education, human resources development, methodologies of education, new educational forms and methods, and communication & media. The Jan Amos Komenský University Prague is represented in the Czech Rector's Conference and the Higher Education Institutions Council of CR. We are an Individual Associate Member of the European University Association and holder of the Erasmus Extended University Chart.
