Education & Basic Health facilities for unprivileged pupils To See Sindh Healthy Literate and Peaceful

ABOUT IEHRC Indus Educational & Health Reform Council is non profit registered organization working in the main stream of Computer Education for unprivileged class of children and youth. The IEHRC is an established educational & Health Council started on 6th January 2003 to provide education and basic health facilities to poor and down trodden children. The Council is presently running a Computer Institutes and establishing libraries and arranging medical camps in isolated rural areas of Sindh; It is a nonpolitical, non-governmental council whose prime aim is to make quality education easily reached to talented Boys & girls belonging to poor class of the society, with emphasis on necessary education in rural areas of interior Sindh.

The council comprises on a team of educated youngsters who intends to empower the isolated, derailed pupils of society to climb up the ladder of success. Our vision is “Serving unprivileged Children and Youth of Sindh” IEHRC is an organization formed by the likeminded people who wishes to improve the lot of exploited class of the interior Sindh especially the orphanage and labor children. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES To build up Sindh through quality-oriented, focused and value-based education and basic Health; our aim is to help those destitute Students who are in need, especially in rural areas of interior Sindh. With this council, we wish to collect fund for helping those isolated Students in the rural area. We understand the hardship, the difficulty, and the wish to study of our rural areas Students and we want to show them our encouragement to them by our action. Though it is a small group, we are still optimistic that we can help them little by little and one day, with the other contribution of humanitarian

groups of the world we will achieve our Goal to make everyone be able to read and write.

To establish Libraries, computer institutes like couching centers, research work on the different aspects of education, humanity environment, poverty, culture and social development. The main objective of this Council is to fight illiteracy in Sindh, by providing basic educational support for the needy children and Youth.

To establish the rehabilitation center for those children who involved in drugs and social dilemma. To identity alternative resource, for increasing training opportunities in field of information technology for the betterment of children and young peoples education. To raise literacy rate with especial focus on girl’s primary and secondary education: To take initiatives to promote adult education and strengthen the civil society by exploring and propagation themes of education, institutions building, serving the poor people, advocacy, poverty alleviation, drug Abuse, health , communication and media, culture, welfare of youth, and children. Human development and community awareness programs for the betterment of common people of rural and isolated areas of Sindh.

ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT POLICY OF IEHRC It is the policy of the Indus Educational and Health Reformation Council to encourage, facilitate and expect individual and organizational members to demonstrate active involvement and commitment to the council’s objectives. Annual membership of the council will be dependent on the demonstration of this involvement and commitment. By having and implementing this active involvement policy, the council will be able to ensure that all the members you are working with will be just a s dedicated and passionate about actively pursuing change as you are. YOUR CONTRIBUTION: The strongest weapon of the modern society is “Pen”. You can use it with the help of your wisdom and vision for the betterment of humanity. You spread your positive thoughts to global society on the plate form of IERC. You can write in IERC News letter. It is an ambitious step for the welfare of common man and you can help by donating generously. No matter how small amount you donate, every penny is appreciated because it is only with your help that this dream can become a reality. You know better that “the best is he who lives for others”. We are functioning in the countryside area, which is deprived of modern facilities. Although we do know that there are lots many people across the globe whose humanly attitude to such causes in the form of donations cannot be undermined and we categorically respect and call on to such carriers of humanity towards our mission. We however feel that we should reach you with the objective to become self-sufficient in the very near future. IEHRC has a plan to make the Sindh Youth self-sufficient.. The Council does not believe to go aboard on this mission to sustain this mission just on donations. We believe in self-sufficiency and the objective is to make each and every person in the council realize this fact. It is with such an intent that we request you to think for a moment and help us till such time that we can stand on our own to maintain this effort. Your assistance, need not be just in the form of money, but simultaneously we would encourage you to contribute books, computers and of course, your time and effort in the form of suggestions. You can even actively participate in this activity. How to Donate? We accept donations in the form of Dollar or Rupee drafts addressed to Indus Educational & Health Reformation Council.

We also have a Scholarship Sponsor Program through which you can sponsor a student with Rs. 5000/- per year, which covers his yearly school fees, books, clothes and entire medical expenses. We also have a Teachers Salary Sponsor Program through which you would be helping us pay the salary of the teacher with Rs. 12,000/- per annum or $ 270 per annum. CURRENT ACTIVITIES • • •

Technical and Vocational training in rural areas to reduce illiteracy. Computers literacy program. Libraries establishment program. Awareness program about drug abuse (Addicts Rehabilitation Program). Arranging medical camps. We have started Women Self Helping Society to help the poor women rise economically.
