 Practicing as a Professional Electrical Engineer Since 2007 with multinational Construction Company DESCON ENGINEERING LIMITED. Department: Plant Construction and Services (PC & S) Position: E & I Engineer Location of Assignment: Different Projects in Pakistan and Abroad

Joined DESCON as an Electrical Engineer (E&I) in Feb 2007. In DESCON, I worked as Area Engineer on Different Projects performing following activities.    

        

Motor Overhauling and maintenance up to 132kW. Dismantling, tagging and Removing all electrical equipment and accessories. Dismantling/tagging of all kind of Instrument/Equipment for Refurbishment and Calibration. Calibration of all instruments like Transmitters, I/P Converters, Control Valves, Indicators/Gauges, Pressure Switches, Solenoid Valve, Position Switches etc. Design & Installation of Cable ways system and Conduit Works. Cable Laying, Cable Termination (XLPE, PVC and Control Cables) & Jointing, Splicing. Cable Meggering, Hi Pot Testing & Continuity. Installation of HT Switch Gear & MCC Panels, HIMs, Fire Alarm Control Panel, Lighting Panels and DBs. Installation of Transformer, Bus Bar Assembling / Coupling works Installation of Generators, Black Start Generator, Turbine Control Console, Batteries, Battery Chargers, JBs, LCS etc Installation and Testing of Earthing & Lightening Protection System. Installation of Lighting Poles & Lighting Fixtures Building Electrification

During my stay in Descon Engineering Limited I worked on following major Projects. Descon Oxycem Project 18KM Shaikhupura road Lahore, from January 2008 to date Presently performing as an E & I planning engineer for Utility and Hydrogen per Oxide plant, where my responsibilities are Find the quantities of electrical Accessories and instruments from Drawings & MTOs. Man-hours, man power deployment, Equipment deployment, Resources, Material. Planning at Level-2, Level-3 and Level-4 Project Plan (by using P3) of this chemical plant (Utilities & H2O2). Progress monitoring throughout the plant completion Maintain the good relation with all supervisory workforces, Discipline Incharges, Manager and Sub Contractor. Take the Output from E & I team at the schedule time.

I was working as E & I Engineer for Refurbishment of Hydrogen Plant (A part of hydrogen per oxide plant) and my Key Responsibilities were,  Calibration, Refurbishment and Installation of all Instruments and Field JBs.  Plant Motors Overhauling and maintenance up to 132kW.  To handle all the Quality Control Documentation.  Also Close Monitoring of all Construction/Errection activities. Abu Dhabi Gas liquification plant (ADGAS) in DAS Island Abu Dhabi (U.A.E) from October 2007-December2007 I was the part of Major Overhauling of Train-1 of ADGAS from DESCON (Abu Dhabi) which declared one of the best company among the 29 others multinational companies in this Project. Where all activities must came under international rules and regulations of QHSE. In my supervision the electrical activities performed such as,  Removing and dismantling of Electrical equipments from PGA and UGA Columns  Installation of Same New Equipments on same columns (After Replacing with New Columns)  Motor Overhauling/maintenance in CWS  Temporary facilities such as Lighting, and Power supply for others Discipline’s activities also.  Replaced Push button and switches of various motors.  Commissioning and Testing of LV Panels.  Megger Testing and Continuity of LV & Control Cables.  Removing & Installation of Cable Tray. Zamzamma Gas Plant (Phase-II) (BHPB) Dadu, Sindh from Feberuary2007-August2007 This was My 1st Project with Descon Engineering, Which was so critical according to weather, Local Population and other Ground Realities. I was Area Planner in this Plant and My key Responsibilities included: Supervision of Planning, Scheduling Design review, Developing scope of work, Review the base design, Details design, Technical specification, vendor drawings/ documents for various instruments, Datasheets/ specification/ Hook up Drawings for various instruments, Interact with other Engineering Disciplines, BOQ handling, Monthly Invoicing, monthly progress updates, Procurement/Indented/Mailing for

Consumable and construction material from local market and head office, Billing of sub contractors. Trainings: Descon has a grand setup/department of Quality, Health, Safety Environment and also Planning Department. During my stay in DESCON, I have got different Trainings included Primavera Project Planning (P3), Project Control System (PCS) and QHSE.  Worked as a Professional Electrical Engineer Since 2005 with Electrical construction Company FLOWTRONIX (Pvt) LIMITED Model Town Lahore. Department: E&I Position: SITE Engineer Location of Assignment: Different Projects in Pakistan Joined Flowtronix as an Electrical Engineer (E&I) in August 2005. During my stay in Flowtronix, I worked as Site Engineer on Different Projects performing following activities.          

Planning of Manpower and material Required at SITE Making Project Completion Schedule and thereafter monitoring Coordination with Client / Consultant and Attend Progress review meetings. Arrangement of material from Store/Head office Align supervisory work force to carry out daily activities. Detail Engineering and preparing detail installation drawings and sketches for SITE use. Making As-Built Drawings according to Site Requirement. Making monthly and periodically QHSE reports. Making Weekly and monthly Progress Reports. Progress monitoring & invoicing of E & I activities.

And done the following major Projects with Flowtronix (Pvt) Limited DG Khan Cement Company Khairpur Project Chakwal from April2006-Feburuary2007 My Responsibilities were, Cable Tray Routing, Conduit works, Frames & Supports Fabrication, Cable Laying, Cable Dressing, Cable Splicing, HT, LT and Control Cable Termination, Cable Testing (Continuity and Meggering), Instrument installation, Panels and Transformers installation, HV Bus

bar Assembling & Coupling works, Complete Lighting arrangement (temporary and permanent), Street Pole Installation, Earthing Grid and Lightening protection system installation. Adhi Gas Field (Phase-II) of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Rawalpindi from January 2006 to April 2006 My Responsibilities were, Cable Tray Routing, Cable Laying, Termination and Jointing of LV (multi core) cables. Earthing System, particularly secondary Earthing Gas Detectors, Flame Detector and MCP Installation Street Lighting Poles and Fixtures installation with HSE Regulation. Making all QC Documentation for Power and Instruments.

I have also experienced as Trainee Engineer with A.M.Z TEXTILE (Pvt) LIMITED Hyderabad from March2005 to August2005 Where I have worked in installation of Alternators (Waukesha Gas Enginator 900kW x 5) and errection of all electrical and mechanical accessories for Power House of 4.5MW. In this Power House of Textile mill I have experienced of following activities.  Cable Tray fabrication and installation  Cable laying, Termination (Control Cables, LV cables, single core 300mm2 cables)  Generators installation  Earthing Pits and secondary earthing  Cooling Tower installation/errection  Maintenance of running generator etc. Destination: A lot of expectations from my future in engineering and want to give all my services to my under developed country and expect that you will give chance to prove my abilities in right way to bright future.
