Dear Sir/Madam: Greetings! We are IDEYA, the graduating batch of interior design students from the University of the PhilippinesDiliman. In line with our course curriculum, we have come up with an advocacy entitled “The Cradle Project.”. This project is geared towards helping families by creating facilities for medical treatment. These spaces are designed to encourage and empower those who will use the space. The beneficiary of this advocacy is the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) located along Quezon Avenue corner Agham Road, Quezon City. The project involves the renovation of six (6) outpatient facilities within PCMC (the General Pediatrics Clinic, the Nephrology Clinic, the Children’s Library, the Nutrition Clinic, the Adolescent Clinic, and the Social Service Room). To culminate our project there shall be a Design Exhibit which will showcase “The Cradle Project” advocacy pegged to be launched and displayed in October 2009. Over 180 attendees are expected for the event, the venue of which is in a prominent mall located in Metro Manila. In light of this, we invite you to join our cause in changing the lives of the children of PCMC. We appeal to your kindness and generosity for the much needed help for all these to be made possible. Any contribution, whether in cash or in kind, will be greatly appreciated. All benefactors will be given due recognition in our exhibit and souvenir program. The corresponding packages are hereby attached. Please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned for inquiries and suggestions. We look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
