IDEAL MART

IT and CSE Departments

Abstract There are various products which are famous in different places in India. e.g. Tea, Coffee in Hill Stations. There is no method to facilitate selling of those products by the actual seller(manufacturer) instead of selling them to middle men (mediators) who in turn sell them at a higher price and get benefited. Because of this mechanism buyer(consumer) will have to buy the product at a higher price. So, our application serves as a tool for communication between seller and buyer without any mediator intervention. The specialty of our application is that the buyers can get the product from its famous origin. Our application enables the buyer to get the pure and actual product at a correct price. Authors names RAL Tier1

Methodology

Results

The seller or the manufacturer has a separate platform in our application where in they can register and when confirmed by us about their company/shop/business, we give them the access to upload the product under its respective category. The buyer or the consumer can choose between the categories and look for the product that he/she wants and can buy it and get delivered in a span of some days which can be calculated based on the distance from user’s location to the product manufacture location.

By this application the customer would be able to get the products from its famous origin (places where the product is manufactured) and the sellers will get profited by selling their product directly to the consumers instead of involving mediators (dealers, agents). One who actually manufactures the product can sell directly through this application once after access is given to the seller by uploading images of product.

Conclusions

The technologies that we have used are: Android Studio (A tool for developing android applications) Firebase (Database)

Hence this android application provides direct marketing between actual product manufacturers and consumers which is very beneficial for both sellers and consumers and also makes consumers to get the products from its famous origin with the exact quality as it does not involve the transfers from mediators.
