Ibm Test-399 Preprn Tips

Hello Ranchers, Had just come back from prometric, and passed the IBM Websphere Portal 399 exam with 68%, not so good at all Like always, Javaranch was of great help Here is the material that i used for preparation and the suggested order: 1. Java Portlet Specification 2. RAD V6 - Portlet Application Development and Portal Tools - sg246681 Chapters: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 11, 13, 19, 20, 21, 26, 30, 31, 32 and 33 3. Portal Application Design and Development Guidelines - redp3829 4. A lot of articles from IBM developerworks 5. IBM infocenter: Portal 5.1: Development Guide Troubleshooting section RAD 6.0 Developing portal and portlet applications Detecting and analyzing runtime problems The main areas of the exam was: JSR 168 Spec and API RAD Workplace Solutions Catalog Cooperative Portlets Credential Vault and Portlet Services Profiling and debug (Remote and Local) That's it, fell free to ask any questions.

Hi all, just cleared IBM Websphere Portal V5.1 Application Development test with 66% score. I must thank all people who shared their experiences on JavaRanch site and Cameron for his enormous effort to put together visual tutorials on his site and publishing mock exams, those were really helpful to me for taking this exam in just 3 weeks time. I got low score because I never got WPS from IBM site so couldnt test most of the exam topics like local/remote debugging, backend services, SDO, C2A, Portlet wiring tool, installation and trouble shooting etc. If anybody wants to take IBM 399 test... 1. 2. 3. 4.

mmmm, I once purchased a book from ExamScam and it was a total waste of (a lot of) money! You won't find me anywhere near that site biut thakns for the info!
