Hello team members, During our first semester we will work together on a project that intertwines three classes. We all want to begin Eller with strong grades, and in having a great work ethic, we will achieve this goal. Though the purpose for using our company is undisclosed, it is clear that this class is research driven. Furthermore, it is crucial to be incredibly efficient in searching for company information. Therefore, our organization has to be both well-known and contain data that is compelling enough to keep our intrigue. For these reasons, I call on you to heavily consider Target to be a contender in this decision. As you all understand, attempting to research something can be both time consuming and frustrating. Thus, our company needs an abundance of information readily available. Due to Target being a wellestablished company, there is a significant amount of content. On their website alone, they have conveniently gathered information on their stock, financial news, and responsibilities (Investors, 2018). Though, we do not know what criteria these deliverables will enforce, it is certain that we could easily and efficiently find credible resources if we choose Target. In addition, it is vital that we want to choose a company that has an interesting edge. According to Kim (2017), two years ago Target implemented a progressive strategy to compete with Amazon. Relating to that, this year it was reported that Target and Costco are now doing extremely well, and have currently eliminated the need for foreclosure. In vital contrast, Macy’s is having to close down stores due to the lack of profitability in the holiday season (Stein, 2019 and Cohen, 2018). This type of contrasted comparability within the industry is very intriguing. Depending on the deliverables assigned, we can further explore Target’s seemingly auspicious strategy for surviving. I trust that with Target’s accessible information and interesting content, each of you will consider choosing it for the company that we will reference in the semester. I am truly excited to work with our group in order to accomplish these upcoming assignments in BCOM 314R. I look forward to hearing from each of you regarding the group’s official decision. Thank you for your time and consideration regarding the above,

Jacqueline Hum
