HOW TO MEMORIZE QUICKLY VOCABULARY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES Once we read something new it leaves some impact on mind so as we go down the impact weakens on the memory but to strengthen that impact read in descending order. The advantage of this type of memorizing is: It saves your time and the sequence print on your mind leaves an impact and it gets permanent as you recall it periodically. So whenever you recall it comes with the same sequence. And after you have learnt, check yourself by repeating randomly the sentence from the topic. This is a great fun even you could remember the contents of your book you read when you getting use to of it. Make a chart of rows and columns put in some sentences that you need to learn. Make the chart in same number of rows and columns e.g. 1 row x 1 column = 1 box foreign language word your language word
2 row x 2 column = 4 box foreign language word
foreign language word
your language your language word word foreign language foreign language word word your language word
your language word
Likewise, 3 row x 3 column = 9 box 4 row x 4 column = 16 box 5 row x 5 column = 25 box This is how it looks like, what you have to do is to put in words or phrases of the desired foreign language with its meaning in your language. You do not need to keep flash cards. If you target 16 or 25 words in a day than in two weeks you can learn about two hundred words, it’s really cool. Learning in chart will not easy to keep but it will print chart on your brain. It will help you while recalling you will notice your mind running on the chart find exact word what you would learn. Basic Requirement of learning a new language Memorize the most common vocabulary (at least 200) of daily use that you will easily find on the internet 1- The most common verbs 2- The most common prepositions 3- The most common adjectives 4- The most common conjugation 5- The basic grammar (present, past indefinite tenses) that will let you talk in that language and speaking is necessary to utilize the vocabulary you learnt. It will take maximum a month to learn all these stuffs Does it Really Work? My memory technique isn’t the newest, the prettiest, or the most interesting technique on the market. But it has worked for me, my students, and even my wife, who claims to have the “worst memory in the world.” Let’s be clear: Memorizing 23,000 words takes a long time, which is one reason why a pure stacking mechanism (as described
above) can be greatly improved upon when you’re dealing with numbers that big. But remember, this technique is optimized to help you memorize 5 or 6 pages worth of notes, not 7 entire chapters. My best advice is to try it for yourself. When it comes to memorization, it’s important to find a strategy that works for you, whether it’s mine, someone else’s, or your own. What I like about my technique is its simplicity and the quickness with which you can test it on yourself. By the way, I did become the first person to ever score a 100% on my professor’s introductory exam, just in case you were wondering.
