We read in 1 Kings chapter even that the Brazen Sea was made by Hiram for Solomon and it stood by the Temple of God. King Solomon added ten bronze bowls, each four and a half feet high, six feet square, containing 230 gallons of water, and decorated with lions, bulls and winged creatures. They sat five to the south, five to the north of the temple entrance, on large bronze stands having four bronze wheels on axles. The priests immersed themselves in the brasen sea for purification (symbolic of water baptism). 1 Kings 7:28 Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver. They washed frequently as they performed sacrifices. This Brazen Sea and the lavers with their vast amounts of water immediately brings to mind the idea of baptism, washing, and dipping. And it reminds us of the words of the Psalmist, "With Thee is the fountain of life." Jesus said these things in John 7:37-39. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) This is because after our baptism we receive the Holy Spirit from God because of our faithful obedience to his word. John 1:29-33 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. Paul record the same thing will happen to us in Roman 6:3-5. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. And in Galatians 3:26-28. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Here it is clearly shown that baptism must be done by faith into Christ Jesus alone. Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Baptism is a deed done in the name of Jesus with a word (Jesus) spoken over it. We are to do all in Jesus' or Yeshuah's name. It is that easy to understand that the trinity name violates and breaks the word and will of God. Matthew (in 28:18) who recorded that Jesus held all power alone wrote the following words. Matthew 7:2123 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Notice that it does not mention baptism in the name of the Lord! These trinitarians who did great works and all in the name of the Lord except follow baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 4:12 said his name alone saved. Acts 10:36 states the he is Lord of all. It was the tradition of the trinity in baptism first developed by Justin Martyr and further modified by Tertullian being adopted by the Catholics and later the Protestants, that doomed these religiously lost people. They believed more in a tradition of man than in the truth of the scriptures. Perhaps they knew that, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Found in Mark 16:16. Maybe these also read that,"But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" But
certainly not that there is only one single God as according to James. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Both verses are in James 2:19-20. Would they of baptized into the one name of the one Lord if they knew Zechariah 14:9? And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one. I do not know how that God was one in the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 6:4, Exodus 20:1-3, and Isaiah chapters 40-50) and in the New Testament (John 1:1/14, 4:24,10:30,14:16, 1 Timothy 3:16, and 1 John 3:16) and suddenly many years later became three separate but equal persons in one accord starting with Tertullian in 200 A.D. Likewise, we all need the washing away our sins in the name of the Lord Jesus. As found in Acts 22:16. We read in Ephesians 5:25-27. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Christ is the groom and we the church are his bride, then we must take on the family name of Jesus (Ephesians 3:15, John 5:43/14:26, and Matthew 1:21). What man is going to marry a woman who will not take on his name? Christ Jesus certainly will not! After the marriage the Bride goes to live with her Bridegroom as the Queen of the Almighty Yeshuah Yahweh who is the King of kings, and Lord of lords. Matthew 22:9-14 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen. This is a story of the gathering of the guests. They must be invited, and must have on a “wedding garment”. The wedding garment is linen which is the “righteousness of the setapart which are saved." Are you going to obey traditions or the truth? All eternity will be effected by your choice. Matthew 15:1-9 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Essentially, either God or man is more important and your words and deeds will reflect it. Nobody can serve two masters. Your with God or Satan. Elijah said in 1 Kings 18:21. "And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him." Either your baptized into Jesus Christ as the scriptures tell you to do or unto the Babylonian invented trinity (Baal). There is only one baptism that saves (Ephesians 4:5 and Titus 3:5) and regenerates and fills you with the Holy Ghost. The one of Jesus name.
