How Great Thou Art

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalm 19:1

We are unable to fly out of the Milky Way and take a picture of the whole galaxy from a distance because we are part of the galaxy. It takes light 30, thousand years to get to the edge of the Milky Way from Earth, and our rockets can only fly at a fraction of the speed of light.

Earth looks pretty Impressive its surface Is covered by 75% water out of that only 3% is drinkable. It is water that makes earth suitable for life

Lets see how earth stacks–up to the other planets in our solar system

For this is what the LORD says he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:18

Lets compare the earth with the sun.

Earth is not looking so impressive now. But size is not the biggest problem the earth has

(The rebellion satan started in heaven after the crucifixion has moved to earth) Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.“ Revelation 12:12

The Sun has a radius 100 times that of the Earth Which means that about 1 million Earths would fit into the Sun!

Is the sun the biggest star in the galaxy?

filling small, hopeless and apparently worthless in this tiny speck of a world? Don’t despair there is hope. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

But is Arcturus the biggest star?

Arcturus is a runaway star traveling with 52 other stars at about 257 miles a second has not yet collided with no other star astronomers believe may travel out of our galaxy

in Job 38:32 (King James version) God said to Job can you guide Arcturus with his sons? God is in control of the universe; If you let him he could surely lead your through your life. Look at our sun its so small, Arcturus is huge

Proxima centauri much smaller then our sun is the next closes star to earth, it’s at 4.32 light years away that's 25.8 trillion miles Stars that glow white are the hottest temperature The red ones are the coolest the orange are in between

Our Galaxy the Milky Way has 100 Billion Such stars

… "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.“ Revelation 14:7

Look at some beautiful galaxies with billions and trillions of stars You alone are the LORD; You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve them all. the host of heaven worships you. Nehemiah 9:6

Are these all the galaxies in the known universe?

This image the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, is an image of a very small region of space it has in it astronomers say at least 10, thousand galaxies the square is equal to roughly one/ thirteen-millionth of the total area of the sky

10,000. x 13,000,000. that is more or less 130,billion galaxies in the universe. That is stars as many as grains of sand in all of earth’s beaches. & Who knows how many more beyond what our telescopes Can see.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; Psalm 103:11-13

The Son of God Jesus Christ the loving Creator of Heaven and Earth came to this spec of a planet to offer him self In sacrifice for our transgressions‘ he was rejected, betrayed, beaten, wiped, spat on, humiliated and nailed to a cross
