PLANNER Develop preseason unit/dollar level plans for sales, inventory, markdowns and margin in partnership with the Planning Manager and buyer. Develop assortment plans that tie back to the monthly receipt targets. Partner with Planning Manager and Allocation Team to determine monthly allocation strategies. Initiate analysis of business trends, which could include category performance, regional, selling, size selling. In-season re-forecasting of category unit plans/ dollar plans, focusing on future opportunities as well as minimizing sales/inventory risks. Manage the Open to Buy with the Planning Manager and Buyer. BUYER Perform market analysis to define and assess current trends. Develop business strategies to outline strengths, weaknesses, new opportunities and down trending businesses in apparel market. Sourcing and monitoring delivery of product and quality control. Execute balanced assortment including strategically selecting and purchasing product from vendor lines to create and enhance assortments based on trend data. Achieve sales and margin objectives for seasonal buying plans. Analyze and negotiate proposals for product based on trend, price, delivery time and quality. Develop and maintain assortment plans and continually assess market to identify and react to trends. ALLOCATION MANAGER Support regional buying strategy by developing allocation plans support stores that have unique event, space, assortment and timing needs. As changes occur in trends and company objectives, interpret impact on allocation execution and revisit the strategies with the planning and buying team in responding to the changes. Ensure that allocation analyst understands execution impact and reacts accordingly. Partner with planning and buying to drive purchase quantity decisions for both initial buys and reorders that support departmental financial objectives and store needs. Review all recommended purchase quantity decisions for both initial buys and reorders. Review and approve assortment strategy by volume group in order to ensure high volume stores have enough variety of styles to maximize sales. DIRECTOR OF INTERNET Directs all day-to-day operational activities of the site including content, production/operations, sales, marketing, merchandising and customer service. Leads the team ensuring strong individual and group results and good communication/teamwork. Understands e-commerce technology and can serve as a strong liaison with IT group to keep site vibrant Keeps pace with current trends in music/e-commerce. WEB DESIGNER Responsible for creating an attractive web site that has a compelling and intuitive user interface. Creates web page designs and develops new original graphics. Designs elements for landing pages, templates and e-mail campaigns. Collaborates with the IT team to implement all aspects of the design and user interface. Develops concepts for web promotional and online marketing related projects. Collaborates closely with other internal music, internet and IT teams to ensure consistent implementation of the brand. MARKETING MANAGER Creates, implements and oversees communication and internet-related programs to effectively drive the brand, visits to the site, and conversions of visitors to sales. Stays abreast of changes in the on-line marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and propose/implement plans appropriately. Coordinates e-mail campaigns. Manages affiliate programs and paid searches. Responsible for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). College degree in Business / Marketing or related field preferred or 4 or more years of web marketing. Strong computer skills (Excel & Access). CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER Ensures that customers to the site are satisfied and retained. Handles issues with customers and ensures their satisfaction. Responsible for designing and implementing improved processes or operational policies. Recommends changes to the site, products or services to fulfill customer needs. Familiar with e-commerce technology, merchandise and shipping systems to resolve customer concerns. Manages outsourced customer service group. Bachelors degree required or relevant years of experience. 2-5 years of management experience in fast paced contact center environment. INTERNET MERCHANDISE MANAGER Performs market analysis to define and assess current trends. Analyzes merchandise reports to review business results and take appropriate actions to capitalize on business strengths. Strategically select and purchase product from vendor lines to augment planned assortments based on trend data.
