from Doug’s desk... The 2008-09 Fiscal Year ended September 30th, and once again the camp’s financial partners, prayer partners, volunteers, and member churches contributed significantly to our camp ministry. Let me share with you just a few of the blessings, financials, and accomplishments from this past year. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

990 Campers attended LCSC this summer 52 Campers made life-changing decisions for Jesus at camp Over $9,000.00 was given by our campers to Missions We ended the 2008-09 Fiscal Year more than $11,400 to the good We have $18,658 set aside for Phase 2 of our Stewardship Program The small multi-purpose building kitchen was completely remodeled The chapel and old dining hall roofs were sanded, primed, and painted Drainage tile was installed along the south side of our soccer field

The successes from the past year that we were able to accomplish together, through God’s leading, are exciting and encouraging to me, as well as to your Camp Board and the other camp staff. If you are reading this letter now, you have no doubt in some way, big or small, contributed to the success of the past fiscal year. Thank you so much for that much needed and appreciated contribution. I am humbled to see all that God has done and is doing here at LaMoine. I am also humbled by the strength of your commitment to our Mission; that of providing a Christian camping environment that challenges youth and adults to love and serve Christ. I ask for your continued prayers, encouragement, and financial support, in order that together, we might be able to accomplish the task that God has given us here at LaMoine. God bless you all and may God continue to bless LaMoine Christian Service Camp. Serving Our Savior Together, Doug Hamer/Director

Seed Money for a Kingdom Harvest Update

$300,000 $120,000 $93,000 $24,000 $23,500 $12,500

A huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who has participated in our fundraising program toward new bathroom facilities. Currently, 155 packets have been taken and $12,700 has been received. There is still time to get your $5 seed money and grow it into a kingdom harvest. Just call the camp!

New Bathroom Facilities Update On November 7th the camp Board of Directors will meet at the camp to, among other things, discuss the next step in replacing our current bath domes. The need for new bathroom facilities at the camp is real, immediate, and necessary to our current programs and our long range growth plans. Any new bathroom facility or facilities will be constructed to be low maintenance, long lasting, and have more capacity than our current structures. Depending on cost, the new structure/s may or may not double as our on site storm shelters. While we plan, will you join with us in prayer for God’s leading and blessing as we strive to serve Him here at LaMoine?
