Please hold a company food drive to help the Southwestern Virginia Second Harvest Food Bank put food on the tables of those less fortunate this holiday season. Open your hearts and let the miracles begin with a gift from within. This holiday food drive that you are preparing will bring you a warm blanket of peace that can only come with giving.
FOODS MOST NEEDED ARE: CANNED MEALS • CANNED MEATS • PEANUT BUTTER • CANNED FRUITS VEGETABLES • SOUPS • DRY BEANS • RICE • WHOLE HAMS • TURKEYS
We are located at: 1025 Electric Rd. • Salem, VA. • 24153 For questions call: Kitty Tabor 342-3011 ext. 19 or email [email protected] Monetary donations can be made by calling Amy Milberger 342-3011 ext. 26 To schedule pick-up or delivery call: Mike Brubaker 342-3011 ext. 25 If you would like to tour the Food Bank, please contact Kitty Monday - Friday. Holiday’s from the Heart Food Drive runs November 3rd - December 12th.
The SWVA Second Harvest Food Bank supplies food to over 350 non-profit organizations throughout the entire year that in turn distribute food to
approximatley 100,000 needy people a
month across Southwestern Virginia.
Our member agencies include: home-
less shelters, soup kitchens, non-profit
daycare centers, Kids Cafes that feed under privileged children and church
food pantries that feed the disadvantaged, the ill and the elderly.
All Food Bank material designed and produced in-house.
