Mini Biography Henry Kissinger was born May 27, 1923in Furth, Bavaria, Germany. He has a young brother name Walter Kissinger. In 1950 he received the BA Degree Summa Cum Laude at Harvard College. Then two years after that Henry Kissinger also received MA and PhD Degrees at Harvard University.



Character Traits Henry Kissinger is well known in his intellect and his diplomatic skill. He has been helping resolve several conflicts while he was working as National Security Advisor for President Nixon such as the ceasefire in Vietnam War, the end of Yom Kippur War, etc.



Conflict When Henry Kissinger was working as a National Security Advisor under President Nixon, the United States was in conflict with North Vietnam because it supported South Vietnamese army anticommunist movements. The United States sent its troops to help South Vietnam fighting with North Vietnam in Saigon.



Solve Conflict Henry Kissinger initiated a ceasefire talk between Washington and Hanoi. He assisted President Nixon in a Vietamizationpolicy which aimed to gradually withdraw United State’s troops from South Vietnam. This helped solving the conflict between North Vietnam and the United States but the war between North and South Vietnam still continue.


