Hebrews 10:38-39 (38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (39) But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 11: 1-3 (1) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith or believing can mean nothing more than the acknowledgment of a fact. Faith does not look at the present situation as the final outcome of the situation. 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight

God has proved time and time again that he is God and we know that the thing he has said thus far has come true. This should encourage our faith. God told Noah that it was going to rain 40 days and 40 nights. No one believes except Noah and his family. Noah preached _______years its goanna rain. Prepare for the rain. It’s coming. But because they did not have faith to believe in the word of God they were unprepared. So what if it had never rained before. They were looking at the present situation (sight). It has never rained before. Now why should it rain? Because God said it would (faith). Due to their unbelief they continue do what they wanted to do. Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and

drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Have you ever just looked at your present situation and thought it was hopeless and what’s the use of trying. That’s not walking or operating in faith. That’s walking by sight. It don’t look or I don’t know-you are walking by sight. Because faith do know and faith do know the outcome of everything. Let’s prove it.

How does my faith in God help me to walk in confidence of knowing that everything will be alright? How can my faith help me to know the end of all things? Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

It’s who you looking unto or what you are looking unto with your faith. If I was looking at my money to get a car-I would never get a car. But because I am looking unto the author and finisher of my faith and trusting in him to work it out-I know it will be worked out. Dr’s are good people. But don’t you put your faith in the doctors when you go. But look unto Jesus who has begun a good work in you and is able to finish itso that when you go see the doctors and they tell you there is no hope you can be like the Shunaites woman “all is well.” Sight will have you going around here feeling hopeless and saying you are sick and dying, I don’t feel good today, but faith in God will say by his stripes I am healed. I will not die but I am goanna live. I am blessed and highly favored. I feel find. I believe I can run on. Let’s read something Job said. Job 31:24-28 If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, [Thou art] my confidence; If I rejoiced because my wealth [was] great, and because mine hand had gotten much; If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking [in] brightness; And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand: This also [were] an iniquity [to be punished by] the judge: for I should have denied the God [that is] above.

Job said if I have put my faith in my money or my wealth and if I had worshiped Buddha or Muhamanah then I deserve to be punished according because I have denied God who is above everything. How does this relate to our faith? If you want to hope in your money, the doctors, false gods then you are going to get what you deserve. Let your money bail you out, let that doctor

cure your cancer, call upon those false gods and see if they come and see about you (2)For by it the elders obtained a good report.
