Introduction: ‘’Don’t confuse having a career with having a life’’ said by Hillary Clinton the First Lady of America. People sometimes give more priority to work life and spend more time in their work place. Now it does not mean that the more working time gives more productivity. If a person work day after day without interruption the creativity of that person decreased. A study shows that break in work times lead to give better performance. Flexible working schedule motivate the employees and they are more engaged to their work (Zheng, 2015). If a person don’t have enough time to spend with family and sleep he feel stressed. They are more likely to switch their job. So the break and flexible working schedule increases the productivity of the employees and they are motivated to their task. They are loyal to their organisation that decrease the recruitment cost.

1st paragraph: World Life Balance imbalanced “If you love your job, does that mean you don’t have the right to go home and see your family, or go on vacation?” said by Boushey. Work life balanced has a huge impact on overall organization productivity as well as the employer job satisfaction. When the family life is contented employers can give the best to their work (Friedman, 2000). Every man tries to make a suitable balance between work and home. A study shows that a happy family life tend to be a conflict free work place and make the work enjoyable too (Dempsey, 2010). For these reasons now organizations give their attention outside employee’s intervention. Organisations are now giving some facilities to their employees like flexible working hour, part of the decision making, suitable working plan and benefits so the employees can give the family time and do the responsibilities not only at work place also in family. Family support is important because it gives the mental peace and motivate persons. Work life balance is highly dependent on how much time an employer spend at work place. It is not true that if an employee spend more time that means the person more productive (Matuska, 2010). It’s found that the employees those think they have a good work life balance they work 21% harder than the rest. They are more productive, creative, motivated, loyal and more engaged to the organisation. Every organisation want those employees who are more interactive with organisation. Employees are take less sick leaves, willingly participate organisation all activities.

These employees are loyal and happy so they don’t leave their job and it decrease the recruitment cost. As Hillary Clinton said “making sure that work doesn’t consume the entire social life of the person.” All man should balance to their work life (career and ambition) and family & lifestyle (family, health, pleasure). It is important to spend time with family and friends. It makes a person happier. So the person can be join the workplace with a good mood and he can focused to his work (McCarthy, 2012). This make more productivity. We all know the health condition. It is said that “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.” If a person continuously do work day by day he is more likely to sick and also the creativity dies. Continues work causes the more stress and the employees are less motivated to perform the job. So it is necessary not only focused on the work but also spend life with family and friends.

2nd paragraph: Health effects A study shows that bad work life balance in middle age may affect negatively older age even now or some days later. Now in modern life people are much worry about their carrier. People are tend to be work more and less sleep (McMillan, 2011). Which put some adverse effect on our body that can bring some serious problems. Long working hour not only effect out physical health but also our mental health. On the other side flexible working hours gives people more control over their working schedule which have both mentally and physically positive effect. Now the sleeping schedule decreases to 7 hours on average which is 9 hours on average in 1990. It effects on human body and diseases like stroke, heart disease, hyper tension raising over days. Mental disorders also increasing like anxiety and depression. Studies shown that the people work more than 55 hours in a week have a higher risk of stroke (Munir, 2012). Imbalance working hour also caused for anxiety and depression. A 5 years study shows that people who are working more than 55 hours in a week the depression likely to increase 1.66 times and the anxiety increase 1.74 times. It affect at older age also. It count that normal working hour around 50 hours in a week and normal sleeping time around 47 hours in a week. Researchers in Finland at The University of Jyväskylä do a research to

show the physical health condition of 1527 businessman. They found the businessman sleeps normal at their middle age have a good physical condition than the businessman sleeps less. Immune system can be affected by lack of sleep. Sleeps helps healing researcher found that over 15 years of studying. They found people are more likely to affect by virus those who are don’t get enough or quality sleep (Siegrist, 2016). During sleep human body releases some proteins which help to promote sleep. But people when under stress the proteins decreases that cause the lack of sleep. When people sleeps the central nervous system and body work together to heal and repair the damage. The main cause of people go to work so that they get paid from their work. High salary range give employees more motivation to work (Campbell et. El, 2014). But in reality there are lack of wellpaid jobs. So people works more to support their family and try to earn more money. More money gives man to better expenditure and people always like to be respected in society. So now peoples are more likely to spend more time in their workplace rather than the family and friends.

Conclusion: To live a suitable and beautiful life money is important. So everyone try to earn money to live a better life. People sometimes forget that family life is also important. They spend more time to the work place to earn more money. But working more can affect negatively both mentally and physically. People are often sick because they don’t get enough sleep time. Mental pressure raises day by day which can cause stroke and other fatal diseases. The family bonding and social relation get worse also. So the balance of working and family life is important.
