Hazing

Hazing Hazing: To subject any one individual or group of individuals to meaningless, abusive or humiliating tricks and ridicule. To harass with unnecessary or disagreeable tasks. To initiate by exacting humiliating performances from or playing rough practical jokes upon. Hazing and initiations are becoming an issue! The Talons Dance Team, Volcano Vista High School and APS as a whole have a strict policy on hazing. It will not be tolerated! Any instances of hazing and / or any type of initiation will result in the involved members being permanently removed from the team. Furthermore, all hazing / initiation instances will be reported to Volcano Vista High School for further consequences.

I have read the Hazing Policy that will be added to the 2009 – 2010 Talon Dance Team Constitution. I understand the definition of hazing as well as the rule and am aware that I will be permanently removed from the team should this rule be broken. I will abide by this policy and will also continue to abide by the team constitution.
