Study information technology. Apply information technology with the computer. Tell the meaning and advantages of the computer. Tell name and basic functions of computer. How to take care of computer. Use basic windows. Know and understand to use computer. Use computer and equipments efficiently.

Outline of Lessons: Lesson 1 : Basic hardware • Group student on to the mat and explain the rules and what will be done in this term. • Explain the basic of a PC systems and the hardware involved. • Issue a small worksheet.

Lesson2 : Input , Output • Group the students and explain the basic component of a computer.

• Explain correctly Start up and Shut down routines.

• Issue a small WSheet.

Lesson 3 : Start up and Shut down • Display the way we move the mouse around the Windows GUI and how ‘clicking’ will activate different things. • Explain how the window can be moved / resized with the mouse.

Participation in class. Completion of classroom activities. Completion of worksheets.

Lesson4 : Windows Desktop • Gather the students together explain why we make shortcuts to speed up our computer navigation. • Show students how to set desktop clock and date.

Lesson 5: File and Folder •Explain the different of File and Folder.
