First Alumni Homecoming A Narrative Report

December 23, 2018 Led by Maria Esperanza A. Sanchez, Ph.D. together with CKCM faculty pulled off the first ever alumni homecoming for the CKCM College Department last December 23rd of 2018. The event started with registration at 1:00 P.M. which was facilitated by all faculty teachers who were also graduated their tertiary degree in this institution. It was an overwhelming as everyone welcoming each other for the celebration. It was then followed with the Eucharistic Celebration at Christ the King Parish Church officiated by Fr. Jonald Apaon who has done the mass with giving grace of the significant event for all the alumni and even auspicious to have the reunion as an annual activity. Afterwhich, a very stupendous program was held to formaly open the celebration with Engr. Alter After which, a simple program was held to formally open the celebration with Mr. Mariano Rosario as the keynote speaker being the brain of the Alumni Homecoming. Several key persons was given time also to speak before the Alumni and they are the following, Mr. Bonnifacio Borromeo as former mentor, Hon. Eulalio Maderazo having the highest position earned in town, Mr. Rutillo Maderazo as the interim president, and Mr. Antonio Primo as representative of the founder to narrate the history of the school. An election was done to replace the interim officers to formally organize the group. "Pakigsasaro"/Camaraderie lunch was enjoyed, shared by the alumni at lunch time. The whole afternoon was dealt on the election of the new set of officers. Pakigsasayaw was done during the night time wherein each batch assigned a pair to dance for the known cultural dance "Curacha". Everyone enjoyed in the disco/dance. The celebrations ended up joyously and successfully with a hope in their lips that this will not be the last. Everyone is looking forward to the next years' Alumni Homecoming.
