Handicraft, also known as craftwork or simply craft, is a type of work where useful and decorative devices are made completely by hand or using only simple tools. Usually the term is applied to traditional means of making goods. The individual artisanship of the items is a paramount criterion, such items often have cultural and/or religious significance. Items made by mass production or machines are not handicrafts. Handicrafts of Bangladesh are a very useful for the development of our economy if we actually can implement it properly.we always forget or show neglency to this part of our culture by which actually we can make a good identity of our country to this world if we give a bit effort to improvise this handicraft sector. Some very important handicrafts of our country are: # Pottery: Historically the production of pottery has been a characteristic of human activity in most areas of the world. Over time, each culture has established terms which define tools, ingredients and production techniques. Terms currently in use may be derived from a variety of pottery traditions. Pottery is a very popular handicraft in Bangladesh.Pottery is the ceramic ware made by potters. Major types of pottery includes jugs,flower vas,bowls etc. The places where such wares are made are called potteries. Pottery is one of the oldest human technologies and art-forms, and remains a major industry today. Ceramic art covers the art of pottery, whether in items made for use or purely for decoration. Implementation:we can implement this sector if we can give our pottery makers more proper training by a trainer of other countries,introduce this crafts more in cities by arranging different pottery fairs and not only that we can improvise it more and export internationally. # Jute products: Jute is a long, soft, shiny vegetable fiber that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. It is produced from plants in the genus Corchorus, family Tiliaceae.Jute made handicrafts are also very popular in Bangladesh.Different handicrafts are made by jute like bag ,carpets etc. Implementation:
